A Proven Content Marketing Strategy For Producing A Traffic Explosion To Your Blog

strategicplanningThere’s no question that if you want to get a boatload of internet traffic to your blog it’s essential to produce a lot of content and distribute it all around the internet.

However as uncomplicated as that sounds, the process can quickly become a headache when it comes to churning out consistent quality content that gets the search engines to rank your blog on the first page of Google and become a magnet for targeted traffic that produces cash profits.

So here’s the article marketing strategy that you can use right now to increase your traffic and profits:

The first part of the strategy has to do with discovering keywords that do more than just get visitors to your blog. You need keywords that focus on a certain need. If your keywords are too general, you don’t stand a snowballs chance in Hawaii of seeing any profitable results.

The next element of your article marketing strategy involves regularly updating your blog with new content that includes your keywords without reading like garbage, but instead working to presell your visitors.

Steady updates to your blog will keep the search engines constantly crawling your blog each time you post. Make sure to use pingler.com or stack a list of pinging services for your blog to ping everytime you post.

At this moment you should be operating with keywords that have higher profit potential. Your content should incorporate your keywords without looking spammy to the search engines and sounding spammy to your readers.

Your blog should be getting frequent updates at least 2 – 3 posts a day or close to it and now it’s time to drive even more traffic to your blog.

Now it’s time to whip up content that you’re going to utilize to generate backlinks to your blog from external sources.

You can do this by easily writing an article or two a week and submitting it to numerous directories. The key to making this work is to spin your articles so that you have as many unique versions of your article as possible.

This gives you the best chance of getting as much link juice as possible to your blog and now you will begin attracting backlinks from the posts on your blog as well as getting backlinks and traffic from the articles you’ve posted all over the internet.

The beauty of it all is that both of these processes will be working simultaneously to draw masses of targeted traffic to your blog.

Wow 2-3 posts day! I struggle to get 1-2 posts a week up, how do you keep up such a high pace? Do you write all blogs yourself?

      Hi Alan,

2 – 3 posts a day does sound like a lot but if you keep them to about 300 words or so it’s not so tough. What I do is prepare the content in advance in notepad and then copy and paste them into my blog. I usually schedule them to go out within a couple of hours or so from each other.

Excellent tips. These are (and a few more) the strategies that top marketing companies employ to ensure that their websites appear on google’s first search page results.

  • Thanks for tip. I will check out pingler to make sure I get crawled more regularly.

Mark: dude, don’t even bother checking pinging stuff up. Seriously. It doesn’t work.

I’ve pinged millions of web pages during my years as an IM but it has NEVER worked. And that annoys me a lot.

As for the post – it was great. Wish more people in Sweden started using those techniques 🙂

      Hi Kim,

I used to think it didn’t work either and at one time I just stopped doing it, but then I decided to test whether or not it had an effect or not. When I pinged my blog I noticed an immediate increase with regards response time from when I posted versus not pinging at all, in which case traffic would show up a day or two later.

      Thanks for your input.

  • Excellent insights about creating good content to generate more traffic on your blogs. I like your idea on making updates at least 2 – 3 posts a day or close to it and submitting to all directory list.
