It is easy to become stressed out and overwhelmed when you are bombarded with too many projects and business models. As a result the value of your time decreases.

When you are strapped for time with the ability to get very little done, the actual value of your time is greatly diminished and you may find that you’re income will reflect that of a  minimum wage worker  being exploited in a third world country.

First and foremost it is important to understand that being preoccupied with activities or business tools and models that don’t relate to your current model will unquestionably take money out of your pocket.

So if you are struggling to make money online, outside of the marketing noise that goes on the industry, could it be that we are adding to our struggle by letting ourselves get distracted with every shiny new mail that comes our way?

The key point here is to be ‘selective’. Your time is valuable and once you lose a minute you can’t get it back. Don’t give away your most precious commodity for peanuts.

An important mindset to develop is to look at things from a platform of abundance. If you don’t pick up that ‘latest and greatest’ tool, it’s not the end of the world. If you’re not using the latest trick, the tried and true methods for making money online will still work.

If you’re in business for the long term then it doesn’t matter what other people are jumping up and down about. You have the right to be selective with your time and it ‘s important that you exercise that right for the benefit of those closest to you as well as your own sanity.
