How Do You Approach Your Internet Business?

When you enter the room that your computer is in, what is your mindset before you sit down to work on your internet business?

Is your business a business to you or is it, just some thing you’re trying out? I’m going to ask you a few more questions and hopefully I don’t offend you, but if you’re going to succeed, the truth is these questions need to be answered.

No one Is Excluded

At the same time that I’m asking you these questions, I have to ask myself as well. Is your business even a business yet? Have you set any income projections for the coming month, year, 5 years?

What plan of attack or strategy have you developed to accomplish your goals?

Here is something to think about. Every new product that you’re exposed to from today  onward is really the efforts of a serious marketer in reaching their business goals. When it comes to making money online, it is crucial to understand that no money is made until something is sold. Period.

So now let’s revisit the goals and strategy questions. What offers have you developed to increase your online marketshare? By what means are you working to develop your brand?

The old saying goes: ” It’s not what you know, it’s who knows You”. You can gauge your reach in the marketplace by looking at your traffic and sales stats. Now if the results in these areas leaves something to be desired, you now know where to focus your time and energy.

The Purpose Of This Post

The main point I’m driving at here is to help you to see your business as a business. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve made any sales or not, because in all honesty until you view you’re activity as a business, all it is, is an activity.

If you were running a brick and mortar store, would you develop a structure for conducting your business successfully or would you just do whatever until something hits?

How you approach your business will determine whether you’re in business or not. Affiliate marketing can be fun and you can develop some really cool relationships and stuff, but if you haven’t yet sit down to closely analyze your method of operation, you could be very well wasting your time and money.

So make sure to sit down and develop a business plan. Set some reasonable goals that you would like to achieve and then execute your plan to the best of your ability. Set 1 month, 3 month and 6 month goals. Gauge your progress at the end of each time period and make the necessary adjustments to keep moving forward.

Forget about buying the latest shiny object, because until you sit down and iron these things out,  NONE of them will work for you.
