How To Get Your Brain To Generate More Content For Your Blog
It’s happening again.
As hard as I try to think… nothing is coming.
It’s almost like the blank screen in front of me is laughing at me, taunting me.
“Come on pal, go ahead… write something… I dare you.”
“What’s the matter? Cat got your tongue?”
Have you ever felt like that before?
I’m sure you have because I know I have and I wrote about it once before in my post about CCS.
Fortunately the solution is actually right in front of you.
But you have to discipline yourself to focus on one resource at a time.
If you’re like me, you probably hate writing about the same thing over and over again.
It drives me nuts personally, but here is something I came to realize.
Depending on the main keyword your targeting in any given post along with the amount of links you have pointing to it…
…can actually determine the amount of exposure that particular page will get from your audience.
And depending on the keyword itself, you might end up writing an article or post from a completely different angle.
One of the things I do to jump start my brain is to pick a keyword related to the internet marketing industry, open up notepad and start writing.
I write as much as I can without stopping.
The key is not edit while I write until I’m done saying what I wanted to say.
I also try to minimize the amount of windows or tabs I have open so that my mind won’t wander or worse… give up.
You can also open up your browser and check out your favorite blog and randomly pick a post to respond to.
It’s kind of like turning a blog comment into a full blown article and if it’s for your own blog it doesn’t have to be more than 200 – 300 words.
Short and sweet with a gold nugget or two for your reader and BAM! your set.
You can actually take this one step further.
