Promoting Affiliate Programs: What Are The Best Kind To Promote?

Promoting affiliate programs successfully and profitably involves investing a considerable amount of time and energy. One of the most discouraging things to deal with is a lack of results after you’ve gone through an extensive advertising campaign.

The most popular form of affiliate programs heavily promoted by the masses are the ones that you find on Clickbank. The majority of these programs involve paying you the affiliate a certain percentage of the sales you make for whatever the product is.

That’s great, but there is one problem though…

Once you’ve made the sale, that’s it. If the customer that you’ve worked so hard to direct to that vendors offer, purchases any other products the vendor creates… you get nothing.

As an affiliate it is important that you calculate the amount of time and energy you put into your promotional campaigns and how long it takes to make a sale. Once you can get an idea how much time and effort is needed to generate sales, then you can begin to get an idea what your hourly rate is or what your time is worth.

It’s important to understand that if you are serious about affiliate marketing you must treat it as a business.

If you are in business to make money through the products and services that you promote, then it is of paramount importance that the products and services YOU CHOOSE to promote yield the best return on investment for your time.

Now I’m knocking ebook and software sales. Heck if you’ve got a hot product and a large list you can make a killing and there are many affiliates doing just that.

What if you could invest the same amount of time and effort into promoting a high quality product or service that pays you commissions for life?

What if you could promote a product or service that would allow you to earn commissions from your direct referrals and the referrals they make for life?

What I’m saying here is that instead of just getting paid that one time for the sale of the ebook or service, why not keep getting paid month after month from the work you put in? After all you did bring the customer to the table didn’t you?

Well right now I am proud to introduce you to an opportunity that will allow you to do just that. It’s being run by two guys who have a knack for over delivering on quality and have built for themselves an incredible reputation online.

They started out from small beginnings like many others and have over time and consistently provided quality internet marketing content for free that has helped more people than most of the internet marketing products being sold online to date.

I myself have joined their membership programs and can easily say that I’ve been able to increase my earnings and knowledge as a direct result of the information they provide and it just got even better.

  • Great article Nando. I also think promoting affiliate programs in less competitive markets is a great alternative since the Internet is starting to become saturated with too many similar products. Better find niche markets with time.

That’s a good point, no need to paint yourself into a corner with one market. There are tons of niche markets out there waiting for us to participate.
